Surgery room

In the Medical Offices of Studi Medici Vecchia Viareggio (Italy) a surgical unit equipped with a surgery room is set up to carry out surgical operations. There is all of the necessary equipment (medical gas implant and centralised pressurised air). Jorgsohn operating table, Martin scialitic cold light lamps. Infiltration pumps, surgical aspirator. Anaesthesia cart with low flow respirator, laser ER-YAG and ND-YAG, monitoring system, orthodontic cart with water-air spray, high velocity turbines in full compliance to legally required technologies and structures. Highly qualified anaesthetists continuously assist the patients, applying the most sophisticated sedative and anaesthetic techniques. This allows specialists in different disciplines to carry out different kinds of general surgical operations in the fields of dermatology, implant and paradontal surgery, orthopaedic surgery) as well as plastic  and reconstructive surgery in local, regional-local and general anaesthesia. Observation and monitoring post-surgical room equipped with ossimeter, cardiofrequencemeter, cardiograph with defibrillator and devices for intubation, oxygen-therapy and bronchialaspiration.

Post-surgical observation beds, with medical and nurse professional personnel, provide the patient with all the assistance and therapy needed up to his release, that will occur only when specific safety parameters are met in relation to state of health and intervention carried out.
